Wire Binding is a very useful and versatile bookbinding option, with the capability of opening flat as well as allowing the pages to go around the wire and back around on itself, this is ideal for sketchbooks and note pads alike.

Wire Binding is sometimes called 'Wiro' and is a similar type of binding to 'Spiro' and 'Spiral' Binding in appearances and functionality. Some Universities and Colleges use the term 'Temporary' binding for this process. Wire Binding is a commonly recognised book binding style and is used for documents, note pads and sketchbooks. We at Kristal Bookbinders, bind Wire bound books and it is one of our near instant style bindings. Therfore it is usually bound using our while-u-wait service. Wire Bindings can have Printed or Plain Card covers. In addition Clear Acetate and Frosted covers can be used. All of these covers come with the option to have your own text printed with our Hot Foiling option. Preparing your files

We work exclusively with PDF files. You can convert your documents to PDFs using your own PDF converter either online or as a print driver on your own computer. When converting to PDF, please maintain the ìhighest resolutionî and make sure your fonts are embedded.

Wire binding is available in A4, A5, A6, book sizes or in-between sizes in either portrait or landscape orientation.
